Hi, I have BT infinity 2 FTTC and for some reason when I try and connect the new TP link modem/router it will not connect on the DSL and will not allow me to use it. I wanted to replace the BT home hub with top link router

Check what's the type of the Internet connection of your BT home hub.

If it's different that these that VR2100 supports then that's the reason:

 

 

Another reason may be a specific VLAN that your ISP needs to be configured on the modem.

In any case you may consult with the ISP whether you can use or not the VR2100 in their network.
