Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20210901 rel.69096(5553)

I noticed there was an available firmware update on my AX1800 today and upgraded to it successfully. Now since then every 10-12 hours the router drops the internet connection (just internet, devices on wifi still connected and power still good for router) and needs to be reset in order to work again. Here are recent system logs:

The internet drops correspond to the LAN_OFF events. I've tried to downgrade to the previous firmware version but I just get an 'Upload error' message (with no error code or additional info). I've turned off QoS just in case that is affecting it, but I have to wait another 10-12 hours for the next drop (and this is a feature I would like to have enabled and one of the primary reasons for choosing this router...)

Is there anything that can be done? What is the point of the firmware upgrade if it introduces these regressions for arguably the primary function of this device (i.e. a stable connection)?

Hello, can I know who is your ISP? Be sure the modem is still stable. You can also try to modify the internet DNS servers on the AX1800 manually, you can try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then reboot the router and confirm.

@Kevin_Z

The ISP is Sasktel. Changing the DNS does and reboot has no difference. Cables are fine, the connection to the ISP is stable.

Literally the ONLY thing changed about the network setup in the last day is the firmware upgrade.

Disabling QoS also didn't prevent it from happening again today.

Confirmed getting the same internet connection drops within about 8 hours despite changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
