MODEL RE455, not in list.

When the firmware update will be released?

I have disconnection problems with my O2 mitrastar gpt-2741gnac router when the load is high.

Also the router slows down when there are many open connections. Using P2P, for example.

I have installed the beta release and it solves the slowness problem with many connections (p2p apps).

But be warned that it is a test version and "Confidential". Curious TPLINK support

Thank you for your suggestion, I will record it for further evaluation. The firmware of older version device may not update very frequent until for some major fixes.

If extender does not work stably, you could try some tips in this thread.

If you have large traffic network actives like P2P downloading slows down the router, you may consider upgrade the router and extender, or contact router support and see if they have any suggestions.

There was an beta release to fix some security issue but apparently they forgot about it and abandoned the product almost right after selling it unfortunately.

I want to upgrade my router that currently is an Synology RT1900AC to an Tp-link AX in the range of 2-300 Euro but with such poor firmware update support I will surly pass.

it was a shame not to have looked at the technical support before I bought the re455. Repeater with problems and without firmware updates. One and no more.

Thank you for asking, ' Confidential' watermark means it's a beta firmware, that does not affect the features on that firmware.

The official firmware test stage could be pretty long, and we do not have an estimated date either, for the official firmware release, please kindly keep on eye on the local website.
