W8961ND firmware 120608 or 120427?

After resolving my modem issues and into configuring my modem I came along looking into proper firmware revisions.
On the tp-link website (Canada and US versions at least) show 120427 as the latest firmware revision for my modem.
However when I check my modems firmware version it shows: 2.0.0 Build 120608 Rel.34612
A few questions come to mind.
Which one is the latest?
Why doesn't the website show this as the latest version? (In other words does anyone else have/need/want this?)
What has made this version different than the others?
