Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 (211208)
I have an AX6000 v1 (last firmware version December 2021) and recently I update my internet connectivity from FTTC to FTTH

I got the modem from the ISP and then connected to AX6000 v1 using WAN-LAN configuration.

FTTH speeds up to 1Gbps DL / 200 Mbps UL, really it is no more that 750Mbps DL and 180 Mbps UL. If I start speed test from AX6000v1 it is always around 700Mbps DL and 160 Mbps UL

Using AX6000 WIFI 5G network I got a speed uo to 600Mps DL / 130Mbps UL but If I connect my PCs (more then one) directly to AX6000v1 Ethernet ports I got up to 150Mbps DL / 130mbps UL and no more, using PoE AV1300 adapters the connectivity to the TV set box got up to 250Mbps DL / 130 Mbps UL no more

All Ethernet cables are cat 5 certified

Any idea about the Ethernet limitation in DL? Do you have any suggestion in order to speed up my DL ethernet connectivity?

Hello @Andrea68, thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.

Please follow the guide below to check and ensure the QoS settings are configured correctly:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3069/

What is the link speed when the computer is connected to the AX6000 via a cat 5 cable? Follow this guide to check it. If possible, test with another PC or laptop that connects to the LAN port of the AX6000.

HI  @Kevin_Z the link speed is 1000 Mbyte. I'm following your suggestions about QoS settings. But till now no effects. The last check that I'll do is cable update. I got cat 8 cable I'll wait for them

Hi @Kevin_Z with cable cat 8 and fine tuning on MTU size in order to avoid fragments performance are increased a bit and it is more acceptable. DL 180 Mbps and UL 150Mbps

@Andrea68

That is still not good. Can I have the brand and model of the Ethernet adapter on the PC? Please check and determine if there is any Anti-virus software running on this PC, be sure there are no special settings that target to limit the speed on it.

Hi  @Kevin_Z  In order to connect my router I use a power line connection using two TP-Link TL-PA8010P KIT Powerline AV1300 with sw version 2.7.0.44_02_80113_200714_902 than a TP-Link LS105G switch and at the end there is my company PC: HP EliteBook 840 G5,  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU with Windows 10 Enterprise N build id 19042.1586. The NIC is: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (4) I219-V with drive version: 12.19.0.10.  All cables are now cat 8 of 1 or 2 meters lengths. Today the router speed is dl 668 Mbps ul 184 Mbps and the pc speed is dl 175 Mbps and ul 144 Mbps

@Andrea68

So the network layout is like below?

FTTN modem ----- (WAN) AX6000 (LAN) ---~2m cat 8 cable-- PA8010P ===powerline==== PA8010P ---~2m cat 8 cable-- TP-Link LS105G switch ---~2m cat 8 cable-- HP EliteBook 840 G5

Is there a possibility to connect the PC or another laptop to the AX6000 LAN with a cat 8 cable directly to determine what is the actual speed you can get? As there are mixed devices in the network, it's hard to say the issue lies in the AX6000 now, most importantly, the 5G speed is much better than the wired ethernet speed.

As per the powerline network, can you install the TP-Link tpPLC utility to determine what is the powerline rate? Then refer to the FAQ here to determine if that is normal.

Hi   @Kevin_Z

Using direct PC connection using CAT 8 cable I got DL 180Mbps and DL 138 Mbps than using 5G connection using Google Speed test I got DL 455Mbps and UL 134 Mbps

If I connect to my working station using Google Speed test I got DL 104Mbps and UL 108 Mbps and the result of the TP-Link tpPLC utility  is 363 Mbps
