Model: Archer C4000
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 20191026 rel 13901

I've been running the C4000 with a Virgin media hub 3 in modem mode. It's been delivering half a Gig WiFi speeds consistently for over a year, but I've recently upgraded to 1 Gig speeds, with Hub 4 in place of Hub 3.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing speeds anywhere near 1 Gig. It's mostly around the 600 area, with the odd test getting to around 700 on a good day with a following wind.

Virgin have said the Hub 4 speeds are set at 1 Gig, and the problem must be the TP-Link router, but Virgin's customer service is terrible, so I'm not sure.

Are there any known issues with Virgin broadband, the Hub 4 and the C4000 please?

@Dekenba

Hi, I find the Virgin Media community site a good place for information and help, you can post your router stats there and some of the techie experts can tell you if there is an issue with your incoming virgin connection.

BT Full fibre 500, 1x X60 V3.2 in router mode and 1 x XE75Pro V2.

Hello @Dekenba,

klipse's suggestion is good, you may also ask on Virgin community and see if an expert will help.

Regarding the speed issue with the router, you can also follow these troubleshooting suggestions to see if you can figure it out:
