Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20210730 rel.54485(5553)

Recently purchased AX50 router and everything worked great up until about a month ago. Out of nowhere the 2.4Ghz network appears available however no devices can connect. The 5Ghz is working as expected and devices can successfully.  I realize now this has been an issue for TP-Link devices in the past and currently. Any advice of remedy for this issue is appreciated. I have not found a firmware upgrade but i would think that is where the solution would be found.  I have tried cycling the wifi off/on as a temp solution however is it short lived if it works at all.

Hi @big_beerd44

Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to repy you late. Forum has been busy recently.

Here are some suggestions that you can have a try:

1. Please set the 2.4G security to No Security and see if device can connect

2. Please try different 2.4G wireless channel.

3. Please reset router: with the router powered on, please press and hold the reset button until all LEDs turn on to reset the router to its factory default settings.

If the issue remains the same after you tried the suggestions above,  I am afraid this device 2.4G module has hardware issue. We recommend reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement.
