Hello!

I've just installed this new wireless adapter on my PC.

However I have maximum speed of 400mbps on 5GHz, no more.

 

I've tried these drivers:

Archer T6E_V2_200508_Win10

Archer T6E T9E_ASUS driver_7.35.351.0

 

Both drivers give the same result

 

What I've tried also:

- Preferred bandwidth to 802.11a

- Disabled bandwidth 802.11b/g

 

My router have bandwidth setting to 40MHz. If I set other like 80MHz or above or even 20MHz the speed drops to 173MHz

 

Please, can you help me?

I solved the issue.

I used the radar option of my wifi router and found someone else which uses 40MHz too.
This caused to split the bandwidth to 400mbps. Also there was many 80MHz routers in range.

So I switched to 160MHz because no one uses it. My PC is almost near the router (4m circa).


Now I have 867mbps speed!

May I know did you resolve the issue by changing router Wi-Fi settings -> 5Ghz band to 160mhz or did you change adapter property settings?

@Solla-topee I just changed the frequency on router settings and set back to default settings the adapter. The issue was just related to the frequency.
