One of my p9 units is having problems. When I plug it in, it will pick up signal and be stable for a while but eventually (sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes an hour) will "lose signal" and I lose network.

 

I tried moving it right next to the master p9, and this still happened, so it isn't a signal strength issue.

Putting the other satellite unit in the same place, there are no issues or drop outs so I can only presume this unit is faulty.

 

What can I do to verify this and how can I order a replacement unit?

Hi, would the LED on this unit turn red when it lost signal?

By the way, how long have you had the P9?

Have you tried to reset this unit and add it back to the APP again?

yes, the light does turn red. I will try resetting the unit and adding back into the app today.

  @TP-Link doing a reboot seems to have fixed things. The unit has been connected for a couple of days now with no drop out. I thought I had done a reboot already but perhaps it was the wrong unit.
