I come to ask if anyone managed to solve this adapter scam that they sell as compatible with Windows 10 and then they tell you that it is not and they do not give any driver.

I don't expect any official answer because clearly after 7 years this is still the same. I just want to know if anyone managed to get it to work fine for them without it getting disconnected all the time.

Hello   @Yupoman 

As you found on tp-link official website, TL-WN8200ND V2 and above version has TP-Link official driver for Windows 10 

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-wn8200nd/v2/

 

For TL-WN8200ND V1, it does not have an official driver, but you could try chipset driver here for to work on Window10  :

https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201911/20191129/RTL 8192 CU.zip

 

Usually Window system would look for the driver for the adapter itself if you have not installed the driver, but this requires computer to be online first.
