I need to change my range extender's encryption toixed in order to connect it with solar man app to monitor power production.. But I'm not able to change the encryption.. I'm from India Some please give me a solution

Range extender will use the same wireless encryption as main router when working as an range extender.
Please confirm your range extender firmware is up to date
If your Wi-Fi network devices connected to Wi-Fi network of router, can you use the APP? Can I know how do you want to use this range extender, and how does the network device, router and range extender connect to each other?
