Tp-Link AX73 with openvpn client port forwarding problem
I can't do port forwarding when using openvpn client on my tp-link ax73 device.
Openvpn client routing works smoothly on keenetic brand router.
How to enable port forwarding in openvpn client mode on tplink ax73 device?

Hello, do you mean you opened some ports for the local devices or services, and those settings will not take effect when you enable and connect to the OpenVPN server by setting up the VPN Client? In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:
1. What are the devices or services that you are opening the ports for? Which ports have been opened?
2. Are these devices connected to the OpenVPN server by adding them to the VPN Client List? What if you remove them from the list or disable the VPN connection for them, will the port forwarding still work?
3. Can you describe how do you want to use the port forwarding and VPN Client feature on the router?

@Kevin_Z
I have openvpn server on my personal server.
my goal is to get rid of cgnat common ip block.
For this I opened all ports on openvpn server.
I added it to my tplink router as a client.
I added the devices I want to reach the internet with openvpn.
Then I added the ports I want to open with port forwarding.
the result is negative.
I can open a port on another brand's router with the same settings.

Is the connection you described like the below diagram? If you have opened all ports for the personal server on the AX73, and you get the public IP address on the AX73, then you should be able to access the server from the outside. The VPN Client setting on the AX73 won't conflict with the port forwarding settings.
However, if you want to access the PC1 and PC2 from the outside, that would not happen and that cannot be achieved by the VPN Client configuration on the router. The VPN Client only allows the PC1 and PC2 to connect to the outside VPN server, but not allow them to be accessed from the outside.

@Kevin_Z
Note: All ports on the router are forwarded to the camera.
Note: Keenetic brand router works fine in the same configuration.

Thank you very much for your detailed information, it's pretty clear now.
However, AX73 doesn't support that at this moment, I would record your feedback and forward it to the engineering team for consideration.
BTW, can I know the specific model of the Keenetic brand router which supports the feature you requested? We will provide it to the engineering team also.

hello kevin
keenetic all models support this feature
The product I use is keenetic KN-1810
tp-link disappointed me again, especially in terms of software and feature development.
I wanted to give it a chance by buying a tp-link router, but it lags far behind its competitors in terms of software.
