Please describe the issue in detail again, what do you mean by providing power? Is there no power on the router? 

 

If there is an additional power adapter, you may try that to determine if it is a router issue or a power adapter issue. The WR845N can be powered by an adapter with 9 V ⎓ 0.6 A.

 

If nothing helps, we recommend reaching out to the local tech support, so they can work with you in looking into the issue further or help with the replacement:
