My Deco X20 is hardwired to my Cogeco modem (2 feet away). The cogeco modem consistently gives me 300+MB on wifi, yet my X20 only ever gives me a max of 75MB. i've tried rebooting the X20 but no change. any ideas what could be throttling the x20?

May I know the model number of your Cogeco Wi-Fi modem?
Since Cogeco modem has Wi-Fi as well and it might be a modem-router combo, do you set up Deco X20 under wireless router mode or access point mode?
As for the speedtest from Deco X20, is the device connected to 5ghz or 2.4ghz since it is very likely the device is connected to the 2.4ghz now.
By the way, have you run a speed test under Deco APP>More>Test internet speed and how much speed you could get?
And Please also remember to check the QOS and make sure it is disabled or set to 1000/1000 m/s.
