2-Install EU firmware :
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2022/202212/20221205/Archer_MR600(EU)_V2_220105.zip

When done, Logon to MR600 and check for updates .

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried the images in the sequence as you requested. None of them worked however.

The results are as follows:

1.5.0_0.9.1 - Immediately shows error code 71211
1.3.0_0.9.1 - Uploads to 10% then shows error code 4503
1.2.0_0.9.1 - Uploads to 10% then shows error code 4503
1.1.0_0.9.1 - Immediately shows error code 71211
1.0.0_0.9.1 - Immediately shows error code 71211
Beta 211229 - Uploads to 10% then shows error code 4503
Beta 211018 - Uploads to 10% then shows error code 4503

I still think that the current image is locked to only accept ZA-N localised firmware, so a custom ZA-N localised image that removes that restriction is required. (or which changes it to accept EU images)

The firmware at this link works:
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2021/202112/20211229/Archer_MR600(ZA-N)_V2_210804.zip

That is starting to make sense.  If correct,  Archer MR600(EU)_V2_220105 would have a localised 'ZA' version that would serve as a 'middle-firmware' to EU..

  @ng6333

I have again tried version 1.6.0_0.9.1 that you mentioned, just to confirm, and it also immediately stops with error code 71211.

Current version installed on the router is 1.0.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210804 Rel.46439n.

I have tried the custom ISP image you suggested and it also failed after uploading to 10% with error code 4503

It looks like the same image that was suggested to someone else in the thread, I actually tested that one last night.

I also tried the previously suggested DREI_TO_EU custom image last night with the same result, so it doesn't work either - which I expected but tried anyways.

  @SagaxRabbit

TPlink South Africa should be contacted and provide the middle firmware for ZA-N to EU.

Since this is retail product and firmware they should do it.

https://www.tp-link.com/za/support/contact-technical-support/

Meanwhile, I had another thought that upgrades may work with simcard temporarily ejected or combined with a factory reset .

I even started typing a tftp flashing method only to find that mr600 doesn't support it.
