I installed my TP Link  RE650 today and it works perfectly with all my Apple and Samsung devices connecting to it.

 

The issue is my PS4 works fine, but loses connection every few minutes, which makes online games impossible.

 

I tried connecting to the router via ethernet cable and wi-fi and I have the same issue. PS 4 loses connectivity every few minutes.

 

The blue light stays on so I suspect the extender is still connected to the router, but there appears to be an issue between the PS4 and the TP Link RE 650 extender.

 

Please help.

  @G-Dog 

If only PS4 or certain network device could not work stably, you could 

-  connect that PS4 directly to router and see it could work stably ; confirm PS4 software is up to date

-  In case PS4 roams between router and PS4, try to use a different Wi-Fi ssid for range extender from router's Wifi SSID

- Also ensure RE650 is on the latest firmware released in 2022/05 

- If still the same, you could factory reset RE  try case 1 in troubleshooting guide below  to turn manually configure IP and DHCP for Range extender.

Range Extender Keeps Losing Connection

 

May I know the model & Software version of your PS4 device, can I have a photo of error on PS4? 

May I know does PS4 use wireless or Wired connection of the range extender, is it 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz Wi-Fi network? What is the model of router and the network topology?
