Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I've an existing setup of 3 Deco M9 Plus spread around the house. I need to expand further and hence would like to know if I should buy another M9 Plus or a XE75. Also will there be any drop in overall performance of the network if XE75 is chosen.

I understand that all Decos are compatible with each other but how will the wireless backhaul work between M9 Plus and XE75? Which band will be chosen as a backhaul?

If you plan to have Wi-Fi 6E capable devices you could go with XE75.

Since it supports Wi-Fi 5 standard as well, there shouldn't be a problem with the Wi-Fi 5 backhaul:

If you don't plan to have Wi-Fi 6E capable devices you can just go with the M9 Plus.
