Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.6.0

I have 3 Deco's setup in a mesh. One if wired into my router. Everything on Wifi works fine.

Each time my wired Windows PC boots it shows that the network port us unplugged, disabling it and enabling it fixes the issue. However I don't want to do this for the rest of the PC's life.

I know that this isn't an issue with the PC, it has been tested on other networking equipement and comes up first time each boot. Other machines (pi's and laptops) also have the same issue.

I have tried setting a static IP and using dynamic. I have also tried both ethernet ports on the Deco unit.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried with a different ethernet cable or plug the PC to the other M4 unit ?

Sometimes bad cabling can cause such an issue - use a factory made CAT 5e/6 cables to be sure that you can achieve 1 gbps connection to the M4.

  @arphillips

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Does it matter which Deco the wired computer is connected or does it happen to all the 3*M4?

And is there any network switch between the ISP router and main M4 or the main M4 and wired PC?

If yes, can I have the model number of the switch?

Best regards.

  @David-TP No, happens on all 3 devices. No switches or hubs anywhere.
