Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.0.0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 210826 Rel.42166n

So I just bought a brand new Archer VR600 V3 AC2100 modem, which is advertised as going up to 1733Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. However, upon installation, I noticed that my bandwidth is almost half as advertised on both bands, with all of my devices reporting 866Mbps on the 5GHz band and 144Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, I've tinkered with the settings to oblivion but to no avail. Any idea as to what I could do to fix this? Or do I just have a faulty model?

  @Ghostie

I see someone posted a similar question on Reddit and one user had explained in details.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TpLink/comments/v4yhil/new_archer_vr600_v3_doesnt_reach_advertised_5ghz/

It seemed like Archer VR600 supported 4×4 MU-MIMO on 5Ghz which is why they said 1733m/s. Your mobile devices might be only 2*2 MIMO on 5ghz so only 866m/s.

I think you could try to update the wireless adapter on your devices, maybe a Wi-Fi 6 adapter since this AX technology seems getting more popular now.
