Using ER605 as a switch - wont accept default static route

Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.1

Hello, i am using ER605 as a switch (nothing connected to the WAN port). I have hosts and one other router connected to the LAN ports. The hosts are working just fine having the main router as default gateway. However on the ER605 that is used a switch, I am unable to to define a default GW and it also does not accept adding a static route 0.0.0.0/0 to point it to the main router. The reason why I want to do it is to enable the device itself to access the internet (for NTP, etc...). Is there a way how to achieve that with this set up?

Thanks,

Radek

  @Artee

From my knowledge, ER605 is a NAT router, neither a traditional router, nor an L3 switch.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
