Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20211118 rel.43110(4555)

unfortunately it is not possible to select the correct model and version via the pulldown menues (as not all models and versions are provided). I therefore provide the correct ones hereafter:

model: Archer C6

hardware version: Archer C6 v3.20

for to investigate on issues on a Wifi connection to a specific network element I need the DHCP message sequences on the Wifi-ITF of the router.

These events are currently not part of the system logs provided py the router.

How to activate the logging of the DHCP-events.

  @dinner41

pls keep in mind:

- I DON'T want to identify the elements connected to the router but

- I want to identify the root cause, why the device is loosing the connection

Based on the current firmware design, there are no DHCP logs on the router. Can I confirm why you need that? Is there an issue with the router?

If you want to check the devices connected to the router, you have multiple options, such as:
1. Go to Network Map > Clients, there you will see all the devices that are connected to the router;
2. Under Advanced > Security > IP & MAC Binding > ARP List, you will find all the devices also;
3. Under Advanced > Network > DHCP Server > DHCP Client List, here you can find all the clients that are getting IP addresses from the router via DHCP.

  @Kevin_Z Hello Kevin, as I mentioned yet I'm investigating on an issue occuring on the Wifi-interface between the router and a network element connected to the router.

more concrete: from time to time (sporadic, not systematic) the network element is loosing the connection to the router and there is no automatic reconnection.

As you ask for a possible problem on the router: YES, I think, that the router is causing this issue, 'cause:

- the issue does not appear when I use a router of another brand (no tp-link) on the same position in the network

- the issue can be solved by doing a power cycle on t the router

what do you advice for to detect the root cause for this issue?

it is a pity, that dhcp-logs are not provided by the router. Is it planned to update the router sw for to priovide these logs? - when may I expect this update?
