Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0000000

Hi, I just got fiber broadband with the EERO PRO gateway but I would like to continue using my Archer VR800 for a 'test network'...

When I plugin the VR2800 straight into the network Internet access seems to work but it starts assigning IP addresses to the devices on the main network... How would I setup the VR2800 to only assign DHCP network IDs to the devices connected directly but not to those on the 'main' network and act as a network gateway/router at the same time?

Thanks,

Oliver

You can configure VR2800 in 'Wireless Router' mode - thus it will assign IP addresses only for devices connected directly and won't mess with your main network.

Here's a guide on how to do that.
