C80, unable to disable 5Ghz
Hi. Any news about new firmware (maybe Beta) for Archer c80 ? I bought one yesterday and i facing problems with disabling 5Ghz channel when WI-Fi schedule is turned on.

Do you mean you've disabled the 5G signal on the Archer C80, but it will be automatically on when you configure the Wi-Fi Schedule? As confirmed with the engineers that would be the case that the Wi-Fi Schedule will enable both 2.4GHz and 5GHz at the same time. There is currently no beta firmware to change this, you may keep an eye on the official website for new firmware updates in the future.

@Kevin_Z Hi.Thanks for reply. Yes, i've disabled the 5Ghz signal on the Archer C80, but when i configure the Wi-Fi Schedule and push save button, 5Ghz automatically turns on too. When i try to disable it again manually it will stay disabled for 5-10 minutes and turns on again. That`s really annoying.
And please, give me a honest answer: will it be fixed ? Because i have like a few days to return this C80 and i don`t want to waste my money for router which not fully functional.

I honestly do not have an answer for that. We don't get advanced notice of whether there will be new updates being released or when a change will be implemented. If this disturbs you a lot, I suggest you contact the reseller whom you purchased the router from to confirm if they can help replace it with another model with an equivalent price.
