Estimada comunidad, buen dia!

 

Acabo de comprar hace unos días el router  tp-link AX23 AX1800 para poder tener una correcta conexion de 100MBPS.

 

Sin embargo, me he dado cuenta que si tengo activada la red WIFI del router (sin dispositivos conectados) y tengo una PC conectada vía cable al router... la PC recibe una velocidad de 50 MBPS.  El largo del cable de red es de 2 metros.

 

Si conecto la PC, mediante cable de red al modem, recibe los 100 MBPS. Es decir, que el router es el que disminuye la velocidad.

 

¿Podrían ayudarme a configurar adecuadamente mi router para poder aprovechar el 100% de la velocidad?

CONTEXTO PERSONAL:

Mi intención es utilizar el router sólo WIFI con 100 MBPS, pero me encontré con que la placa de red de mi PC no soporta en WIFI 100MBPS. Por lo tanto, debo usar cable de red para dicha PC y WIFI para el resto de los dispositivos.

It's suggested to follow this guide to review the settings on the AX23 to be sure that there is no special setting to limit the speed, especially the QoS setting.

You can login to the web interface page of the AX23, then Go to Advanced > Wireless, you may need to disable the Smart Connect first, then assign different names for the 2.4G and 5G networks. Instructions can be found below, you can also modify the channel to one with less interference with others around you:

¿Podrías brindarme una guia para configurar las bandas de mi router (2.4 y 5 G)?

Creo que el problema es que tengo habilitadas ambas bandas y mi PC toma la banda 2.4 y brinda menos velocidad

I did not have enough length to connect the cable to the router, then I had to go to the store for a longer cable. But first I measured the distance, got the result, and then I converted it from meters to feet, because the store specifies it in this unit of measurement, and then I took a longer cable to be sure it was enough.
