Model: Deco M5  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.6.0 Build 20220525 Rel. 48298

After the firmware upgrade, the connection to specific web pages show the following error

 

 

"This site can’t provide a secure connection

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"

 

Connecting through another wifi network, not via Deco is ok

Connecting through mobile hotspot netwrok is ok.

 

All is ok on all devices, but not when connected on the Deco. So the problem is the new firmware upgrade. Before upgrading I did not have any issues on this web page.

Hi, can you send me a message about these specific websites and a full picture of the error message?

Will this error message pop up on all the devices when they are accessing these websites or mainly on IOS devices?

This is the full picture of the error message

 

 

This error pop up on computer devices. Ther is a similar error in android devices.

 

When connecting with mobile hotspot all is ok.

What should I do if I cannot open a website through Deco network?

Thanks, that solved the issue.

 

I have another issue. I don´t know if I have to open another post.

 

When I try to use the remote desktop application in Windows within Deco network, deco does not allow access to connect outside of the network to reach the remote computer (Virtual Private Server).

 

The message is the folllowing.

 

 

When I connect thru mobile hotspot or other wireless network all is ok and I can connect to the remote computer using remote desktop windows software

Hi, have you checked whether the IPV4 address on M5 is a public IP?

And have you opened ports for remote connection to the local desktop on the Deco?
