just had bt full fibre 900meg to home was useing my vr2800 before fibre was fitted but now it doesnt work had to put my bt hub 6 back in is there any reason this vr2800 wont work using ethernet to port 4 and to the ont box??? is there setting that i need to do ...thanks in advance

If you want to use VR2800's LAN4 port as WAN port you have to switch its 'Operation Mode' to 'Wireless Router Mode':

  @terziyski tried that but wouldnt work do i still have to use the bt hub as well as the vr2800 with it been fibre??? when you change it to the wireless mode it doesnt show up when you go to set it up ie bt hub.thanks

As far as I know you have to setup the correct PPPoE settings when in 'wireless router mode':

 

Provided you use FTTP and do not have BT Digital Voice.

You will need to enter the correct login details.

Username bthomehub@btbroadband.com

Password BT

 

To be able to configure these settings when VR2800 is in 'wireless router mode' connect to VR2800 by cable (LAN1 through LAN3) or wirelessly.
