Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have 1gigabit internet from Ziggo. I connected via Connetbox. I am getting around 500mbps via WIFI near router, with ethernet i get around 900mbps.

I want to connect Archer A5 as Access Point. I connect to Ethernet cable Arhcers Internet port and main router's ethernet port. Then i did all configurations and internet is working.

As far as i know, A5 has 100mbps cap on ethernet ports. However, it's WIFI speed 300mbps for 2.4GHz and 867mbps for 5GHz.

I am gettin around 80-95 mbps for both ethernet and WIFI when i do connection on Archer A5.

I can understand ethernet speed but why i am also gettin below 100mbps for WIFI from my access point( Archer A5)?

  @Tce

The reason your Wifi is also below 100 mbps when connected to the Archer A5 is because the ehternet backhaul connection from your A5 to main router is limited to 100 mbps.  You A5's 100 mbps ethernet ports bottleneck any connections to it weheter WiFi or hardwired.  I hope this makes sense.
