It has no support for 802.1q, so I'm scratching my head as to how it can support 802.1p for QoS.
Am I missing something?
The two standards (P and Q) are very seperate things and therefore YES, P can be supported without Q, and vice versa
P basically just enables the switch to read the header and prioritize delivery based on that, this doesnt require any VLAN support. Q is related to VLANs, you can have VLANs without QOS also.
