  @MirkoA

Hi, I have a MR400 v4.2.

 How can I downgrade? I need IPsec (as the version v2) to link to another router, the model is MR600 and has IPSec.

thanks

  @Sunshine

thanks you for quick response!

Sorry, but I can confirm that they are indeed the versions:

MR400 v4.3, firmware 1.2.0 0.9.1 v 0001.0 build2205, rel.59424n

and i need to link with

MR600 v2, firware 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 build 201203 rel 59032n

do we have any firmware that connects the two?

best regards

@Sunshine

I know this is an old thread but the title gave me great hope and I have to ask if IPsec is available for my MR400.  Its remote (a flight and 4h drive) in  a holiday home so I can't easily look at the markings on it.  I can connect remotely via some flaky connection via 2 RasPis and can see the following info:

Firmware Version:‪1.0.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210610 Rel.67239n

Hardware Version:‪Archer MR400 v4 00000001

Is there a firmware I could upload which would give me a IPSec?

and would the current settings be maintained?

Many Thanks

Ian

Hi, based on your current firmware version, the actual hardware version on the label should be V4.20, I will send you a beta firmware via private message, please check if it works.

By the way, normally the previous configurations will still be maintained after the firmware update, and you could also save the current configuration file just in case.

Received with Thanks and installed. A bit nerves installing it when manual intervention was impossible :) I will not work on configuring it to talk with my main system

You are welcome, and if possible, you could update the firmware when you are next to the router next time.
