Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20220221 rel.50072(5553)

As of yesterday, the Router Bandwith shows 17 Mbps Down 836 Mbps up on my Fiber connection.

Called Ting, Connected directly to PC in safe Mode I get 935 up and down!

I have done a complete reset on this thing and have checked every setting I can find!

Help!

@Xarias

Do you mean the internet speed was normal days before but slows down two days ago? Was there any obvious change or issue happening in your network?

When resetting the AX11000, please be sure you are talking about the complete hard reset (method 1) of the device. If possible, please try one more time and then make only the initial settings for the device (Wi-Fi SSIDs, Wi-Fi passwords) to test and monitor the speed again.

BTW, how did you measure the speed? It's suggested to test the speed by visiting speedtest.net and running 2-3 times.

Two days ago completely normal, no real changes to my network, speed measured by the network test in the router,

Please update and install the latest firmware on your AX11000, then check again if the speed will be normal.

BTW, it's suggested to run some third-party software or app to measure the speed you get from your provider, the build-in speedtest may not be accurate sometimes if the auto-connected speedtest server is not the ideal one in your network. You can just open speedtest.net to test the actual speed you can get from your provider.

  @Kevin_Z I have factory reset, I have updated the latest firmware, I have measured from the route AND the PC.

@Xarias

Is the PC connected to the AX11000 via cable or Wi-Fi?

Is there any chance to test the speed with other devices, such as mobile phones or laptops?

To assist and figure it out efficiently, I would like to forward your case to the TP-Link support engineers who will contact you with your registered email address later. Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up. Thank you.

  @Kevin_Z

Fiber

I have disconnected it as I couldn't get a response fast enough and switching back to my old Netgear router gave me 935 Mbps up and Down.

Also, connecting the fiber device cable to my PC's network card gave me over 930 Mbps up and down with a safe boot, (testing).

I also factory reset the TPLink AX11000 and ensured the firmware was up to date and got the exact results.

Wireless speeds aren't really a factor as I am connecting wired and the other router is connected with the same cabling successfully.

I'm convinced something with the TPlink AX11000 has failed.
