Hi, are you still able to get internet service from this " disconnected from other decos" satellite unit?
Have you tried to restart this satellite once to see whether it helped or not?
By the way, now Deco M5 has 1.6.0 firmware and myabe you could consider updating to the latest version as well.

Hi David, sometimes i can get, sometimes it is off. I tried a few times to unplug and reset the main deco and satelite deco. But no result.
I check the version but it is said that i am updated.
Now i can only have connection from the satellite deco if the distance to the main deco is around 5 feet. If i move it more than that distance the light turns to flashing red.
But if the distance is so small like this than i wont even need to buy te second deco right. Any idea?
