My Main Deco connected to modem via ethernet cable is OK.  However recently, the satellite unit, though able to transmit wifi signal but is unable to be connected via ethernet to any device.

Once connected, the led will turn red and internet including wifi is cut off. Then need to be reset.  Whats the problem and soultion please. Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

I noticed you mentioned that "Once connected, the led will turn red and internet including Wi-Fi is cut off", is it just this satellite E4 or the whole Mesh network?

Can I have a picture of your network layout, from the ISP modem to satellite E4?

And is Deco E4 working in wireless router mode or Access point mode?

Hi David. Thanks for your interest. Regarding your questions:-

 

1) Only the satellite E4 which is located downstairs is affected. This unit was connected to my smart tv via ethernet cable and was previously working fine.

 

3) The Main Deco which is located upstairs is connected to the modem via ethernet cable under Router mode, replacing the original router provided by Internet Service Provider.

May I know the model number of your smart TV?

Have you ever tried to connect a  wired computer to satellite E4 to see whether the same issue repeats？
