I have been using my VR400 router in conjunction with my ISP's supplied Openreach Modem. Recently, the modem has been playing up and today it appears to have given up completely.

I have plugged the telephone cable into the relavent plug on the back of the router, but when I try to use the router to connect, it fails with the message "Internet not connected. Please check if your phone cable is properly connected".

Are there some simple instructions available to describe how to configure the Archer VR400 to act in place of the VDSL modem?
