Hi

I have a issue with whatsapp, when I start a voice/video call with someone after a few seconds the wifi on my phone disconnect and even the wifi icon from top of my phone dissapears. I found out the problem is related to my router, some resources on web say that the issue is related to UPnP and everything should fix after disabling it. but there is no option to disable/enable it on my router.

What should I do now?

I am totally sure this issue is related to my router.

Thank you.

Hi,

Does the configuration webpage on your router model look similar to the screenshot below or is it different?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I don't have any Forwarding menu there. P.S: My router operation mode is Access Point.

Hi,

Ok, I see.

Access Points don't have UPnP, because UPnP is a router feature.

If your Archer C20 is operating in Access Point mode, then you need to look for the UPnP feature on the router to which the Archer C20 is connected to.

Does the router to which the Archer C20 is connected to have Wi-Fi capability? If yes, can you verify that Whatsapp voice/video calls work fine when you are connected to the Wi-FI of that router (i.e. not the Wi-Fi of the C20)?
