TL-SG2428P v1.0 firmware bug?
Hi,
I'm using a TL-SG2428P v.1.0 as my core switch. It has been rock solid since I bought it and until two days ago. Then, I updated it to firmware version 1.1.4 (20220707). Since then, every morning I find it "stuck"; all its ports are down (i.e. leds are off) and of course my whole network is down. Once I remove power to it and power it up again, it starts working normally, until the next morning. I've just downgraded to the previous firmware I could find, v.1.1.2 (20210806). I hope and expect this will resolve the issue.
Has anyone seen such behavior?

I have only 1x switch of this model out there myself and its been running 1.1.4 for a few weeks now without any issues, certainly nothing like you have described.
Does the logs indicate anything happening before the freeze? is there a specific time this happens? Are you controller managed or standalone?
It does seem strange in fairness, if its happening a lot then perhaps downgrade to 1.1.2 again and see if it disappears..

Thank you for your reply. I've already rolled back to v.1.1.2 and so far, it's running fine.
- I haven't noticed anything weird in the logs before the freeze, but if it happens again, I will look more closely
- No, time is not specific; I'd say it's about 24 hours after the last reboot, but not exactly 24 hours
- I'm using a docker-based Omada Controller (v.5.5.6)

OK, I think I have something concrete to share. I've been running v.1.1.2 for a couple of days and the switch is working fine so far. The thing I noticed is that the memory consumption of the switch with v.1.1.2 is completely flat at 38%, whereas with version v.1.1.4 it was not; it was ranging between 60% and 80%, climbing to the max, then dropping a bit, then rising again. I'm afraid I didn't grab a screenshot of the diagram, but I think that might point to a memory leak?

I just updated the firmware on my TL-SG2428P v1.0 and after i upgraded it was "disconnected" on the OC200. I powered off the switch and now it will not come back on line. The Fan is reved up and the power light is on but no other connected are lit. I can't access the switch at all. Please help!
