Unstable without restarting the connected device
AX73 arrived yesterday, so I immediately tried connecting to a Softbank Hikari router. Operation mode Wireless router mode Firmware is the latest 1.1.1.Build 20220505 rel.71480 When I connected to a PC or Fire TV Stick via Wifi in this environment, I encountered a phenomenon where the line speed was noticeably slow. (Usually 80M bps becomes 20M bps.) Both connections confirm 5Ghz, not 2,4Ghz. After restarting the PC and Fire TV Stick, it was resolved, Have any of you encountered this kind of phenomenon? Initial failure?

Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.
I would confirm first if the speed is always stable at 80 Mbps when you connect the PC or Fire TV Stick directly to the Softbank Hikari router. BTW, does Softbank Hikari router have wireless 5G?
When connecting them to the AX73 5G network, how long does it last for an 80Mbps connection after rebooting the AX73? What are the 5G settings on the AX73 also, such as wireless channel and channel width?
If possible, please try changing the AX73 to Access Point mode and confirm if the 5G connection is stable.
Are there other devices connecting to the AX73 2.4G or via wired cable? Is the speed or connection stable for them?

Thank you for your prompt comment.
Softbank Hikari router has wireless 5G!
The speed is always stable at 80Mbps.
Restart the connected device (PC or Fire TvStick) instead of restarting the AX73.
80Mbps is stable once the device is rebooted.
(Since it was set yesterday, it is currently about 24 hours)
I changed the AX73 to access point mode and tried
It was the same phenomenon without restarting the connected device.
No AX73 2.4G or other devices connected by wired cable.
I've never had this issue with other routers I've purchased. Is it an initial defect?

It was the same phenomenon even if I did not restart the connected device.

Can we have the brand and model of the wireless adapter of the PC as well as the model of the Fire TV stick?
Did you notice the 5G wireless link speed on the PC when the speed was normal and when it became slow? Was the link speed the same? You can follow this FAQ to check the wireless link speed on the computer.
BTW, to assist and figure it out efficiently, I've forwarded your case to the TP-Link support engineers who will contact you with your registered email address later. Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up. Thank you.

Thanks for forwarding to the engineer
PC is Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 (Windows 10 Pro)
Network adapter is Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160Mhz
Fire TV Stick 4K Max(Fire OS is the latest.)
Fire TV Stick 3rd generation has the same phenomenon.
I checked the connection with the app, but it was 5 GHz even when it slowed down.
Thank you for your continued support.

If that is the case, would you mind trying to disable Smart Connect on the AX73 to observe if the speed is stable?
