I just recently purchased deco x68 to replace 1st gen Google wifi.

I have an issue now where 2 of my ios devices drop internet while still connected to wifi and the same time.

The devices say no internet connection then after about 10-15 minutes they get internet again.

All other devices in the household are fine when this happens.

 

Steps I have taken :

Turn off / on wifi on devices and reset network connection.

turned off mesh on the iOS devices.

Set manual DNS to 8.8.8.8 on the iOS devices.

 

Anyone got tips on what is causing this?

App says my decos are on latest firmware.

Hi, How about turning off the private address and low power mode on iPhones?

By the way, what are the model numbers as well as the operating system on iPhones?

And How often does the disconnection happen within one day on iPhones?

I saw once a user turned off SIP ALG under Deco APP>More>Advanced and maybe you could test as well to see whether it helped or not.

Older iPad airs on OS 12.5.6. I don't think these models have low power mode.

 

It happens probably once or twice a day.

 

I've just turned off SIP ALG to test and will reply back with outcomes.

No luck with playing around with settings. I still get the disconnections from internet while being connected to the deco wifi
