As of my understanding, the network device obtains GPS location through internet service, and range extender should not affect your GPS service. 

You might try a different map application and see if a different app can obtain the correct location? 

If still the same, can you share more details of how did you find out the GPS service is affected by the range extender? What is the more network devices that has been affected? 

May I know the model of your router and the network topology. e.g. Router <Wi-Fi>RE550 <Wi-Fi>  phone model X, OS X, thank you
