My tp-link kasa KP105 smart plug mini will not turn off my smart tv LG43UH620v off standby mode

Will the plug cut off power for a different home appliance, like a lamp?

I would manually turn off the power on the plug and make sure Power Led goes off .

Btw, how did TV behave if the plug not turning tv off? I found here is a topic that may explain the case.
