Model: Archer AX20
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.6 Build 20220128 rel.15823(4555)

Hello there.

I have the next issue:

When I connect directly to the internet service provider WAN port (not through Archer AX20) I get speed around 200 Mbits.

When I connect through the router, my speed is limited with 10 Mbits (upload and download).

I saw this post : https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/508204

It's not relevant.

Do you know what may cause the problem?

Thank you for response.

I went through the guide. Paragraph 2 describes my issue. Here is how it looks like:

When I am setting the "Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting" to 1000 Mbps from "Auto Negotiation" all the setting (i.e IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gaitwaty) are set to 0:

And the connection gets lost.

I tried to set these parameters manualy (with static IP) - it did not work.

What would you recomend?

Best regards, Genadi.

  @terziyski

Just forgot to mention. I did try another cable. Also the firmware is up to date, but there are still no changes.

That's the AX20 picture, @Kevin_Z requested the model of your ISP (internet service provider) router, if you have any - i.e. the device that this yellow cable goes into.

Replace the yellow and white cables or use the cable in AX20 box kit in place of the yellow cable, then check if your ax20 Internet port issue persists.

Hi Kevin.

I don't have one. The router connected directly to the fiber output.

Switching cables didn't help as well.

same problem on Archer C80 both V1 and V2.2 with 1.12 firmware. If i set the speed of Lan Port to 1000Mbps, the result is it will display 10Mbps and all client connected to it get 10Mbps internet. I must change it to Auto to get 1000Mbps speed.

@NhutNguyen Can I know how did you set the speed of LAN port to 1000Mbps on the Archer C80? Are you referring to the WAN port?

If the negotiation speed is normal when leaving the port to be Auto, there is no need to change it to 1000Mbps manually.
