Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20210512 Rel 39021

Hi,

I have a two deco mesh setup. Main deco is connected to router via lan. Satellite deco is connected to main deco via lan.

If I connect my laptop to satelite deco via lan, I am getting the full speed. However, if I connect through wifi, I am getting very less speed.

Is it a device issue?

@PravakarP How much is the difference in speed?

@PravakarP Make sure your laptop is connecting to the 5 Ghz network of the router

@ImtiazAli I believe it should automatically connect to 5Hz. Also behavior is same with mobile too.

As per suggestion from another post, I have swapped the decos. Now in the main deco, I am getting hardly 20Mbps..So that concludes its a device problem, right?

@PravakarP You mean you did everything mentioned in this link, but the problem still persists?
