Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 build 20211118

Hello,

I have the same need expressed by another customer in topic https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/263888 that is to see logs concerning DHCP discover, offer, request, and ack messages (date, time and MAC addresses).

By default the level <6> debug with DHCPS log was present in Archer A6 V2 whereas it is not present anymore in Archer A6 V3.

Is there I way I can enable this information in the System Log? More in general is there a way to enable different types/levels of debug information in the System Log?

I need this kind of logs in order at which date/time each device of my network has started and ended its connection to the router.

Unfortunately the answer to topic 263888 was given privately by email and therefore it is not available.

Please let me know what can be done. Thanks in advance.

With best regards

LucaMon

@LucaMon

These system logs should be written in firmware, so I don't think you can change that without a firmware update.

You can file a feature request in this dashboard, then TP-Link should be aware of it.
