Hi, TP-Link.

I've got my Deco app updated to 3.0 and noticed I can't add TP-Link Smart Device through Smart Home section of Deco app. My WiFi configuration has Main Network on 5GHz, Guest Network on 2.4GHz with all Smart Devices connected to Guest Network.

When I try adding TP-Link Smart Device in Deco app, I am told to turn on 2.4GHz. Without that, it does not let me to proceed.

---

It appears the app only checks status of Main Network, and ignores Guest Network.

The app should allow to add TP-Link Smart Device when Guest Network has 2.4GHz enabled.

---

Screenshots: 1) Error message and 2) my WiFi configuration.

  @Alexandre.

 Hi Alex, I tested on IOS 3.0.48 with Deco XE75(only 5ghz and 6ghz enabled, no guest) and I did not see this error message. But I see it on Android APP-3.0.17(not the latest version so far and the latest is 3.0.19) when running the same test. Do you use an Android app as well?

I have reported to the senior engineers and if there is any updated news, I will update it here.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

I am using Android Deco app. I checked its version: it is 3.0.19. I had it installed today on my smartphone, from Google app store. Just tried again and can reproduce that issue.
