HI i currently have a Archer vr2100 and 3 onemesh devices everything is working just fine but ive run into the 32 device ip reservation limit ive another 8 devices that i need static ips for so i was looking at adding the ax72 as an access point i under stand it can do 64 ip reservations.

will this allow me to use the 64 ip reservations avaible on the ax72 as well as the 32 on the vr2100?

which device will controll the onemesh?

To avoid a double NAT in yor network and use the AX72 64 IP address reservation limit you have to set VR2100 in bridge mode and use AX72 as a router - check this story.

In this case you could use only 64 reserved IP addresses on AX72, because VR2100 would be in bridge mode.

If you can't set VR2100 in bridge mode you may configure AX72 in AP mode (Case 1) with its DHCP server enabled and DHCP server IP address pool halved between VR2100 and AX72 (i.e. 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.50 for VR2100 and 192.168.0.51 - 192.168.0.150 for AX72).

Thus you should be able to use 32 + 64 IP address reservations from both devices, but you'll have to connect no more than 32 devices to VR2100 and no more than 64 to AX72.
