I am seeing lots of locked threads here reporting the same problem and listing different solutions, none of which works for me. It seems to me that this is a flaky problem that occurs intermittently, then clears up, and users assume that the last thing they did fixed it.

Tech Support really needs to get on the ball with this and come up with a solution, or this router is going right back to Staples. Life is too short to be dealing with nonsense like this.

For the record, when I go to the TP-SHARE drive in Windows 10 file explorer, it shows no files present. If I unplug the external HDD from the router and plug it in to a USB slot on the computer, all the files are there and nothing has changed. I can add and delete files, move them around, look at the pictures, play the music, or run the videos. If I re-connect it to the router, that all goes away. Even the media player on my Roku box can't find the files and thinks nothing is there.

Really tired of this. TP-Link Tech Support needs to get moving and actually FIX this issue once and for all.
