Deco X20 V3.0 processor
Hello, I bought a 3-pack ax20 V3.0 Deco (ean 6935364086947).
I tried to find out which processor it has.
Sofar it looks like it has a (Qualcomm) 1Ghz quad core processor, is this correct?

I looked into the firmware and it says dualcore, so the only quadcores are version 1.0 and 2.0 .
Funny how it is those versions that ended up in the hands of reviewers like the Dutch consumerbond and Toms guide.
To replace a quadcore 1Ghz with a duocore 1Ghz on an ax mesh system and then use the same name I would call that fraud in a legal sense.
Notice that the Deco M4(ac) has a quadcore 0.75Ghz.
If the officials from tp-link disagree then let them list the processor for each version, then we can look them up on cpu-benchmark.

Hi, @Brian_Boltzman , I do disagree that it is called a fraud. Your question is more about the version difference, not the number of cores and clock speed.
V1 and V2 are HomeCare models, and have Quadcore 1Ghz with one chipset; while V3 is HomeShield model, and has a Dualcore 1Gzh with another chipset.
CPU with more cores and high frequency could give a more powerful performance but since the chipsets are different, there is no reason to suspect whether v3 is worse than V1/V2. They are all named after Deco X20 and would use different components to achieve the same result.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
