I live in an old farm house, the walls are thick, 2 - 3 feet.

I have an AC1750 which works on the ground floor, but won't connect to the router if I put it on the first floor.

If I add a second extender, can I use it to pick up from the ground floor extender?

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the community, and sorry for the delay.

If there are multiple floors, the range extender might not be the proper device for you. If the whole house is under the same electric meter, the powerline adapters would be much better:

Best regards.
