Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 220126 RC.50521n

Hello. I have Archer VR400 V2 modem/router running firmware version 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 220126 RC.50521n. According to TP-Link support site and device's web control interface this is the newest firmware version available. Currently 5 GHz Wi-Fi is totally unusable. Any devices connected to it lose internet after couple of minutes and it seems the whole 5 GHz side of the modem/router crashes or freezes. Only way to maintain anykind wireless connection to internet on my devices is to stick to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, but the speeds are abysmal in the 60ish mbps range. Please address the 5 GHz Wi-Fi issue in a firmware update ASAP. Otherwise I have to return my modem/router and look for alternatives.

Is there maybe newer beta firmware floating around somewhere that I could try?
