Hi,

Which hardware version of the T2U do you own? There are versions with MediaTek chip as well as a version with Realtek chip.

Hi,

There should be a sticker on the retail box of every TP-Link product that mentions Model/Version, S/N and P/N information.

Look for something that reads like "Model: Archer T2U(US/EU)  Ver:x.0".

Ver:1.0 and Ver:2.0 should contain a MediaTek Chip and Ver:3.0 a Realtek chip.

I've just tried myself to install a generic USB Wi-Fi adapter with the Realtek 8811 chip in a Linux with Kernel 5.19, but was not successful. None of the drivers I found online would work.

So, you may have to wait until the maintainers of those drivers update their driver packages to work with newer Linux Kernels.
