Hi,

I just got my powerline adapters and wanted to try them out. After some struggle to access the management interface of the TL-WPA4220, I finally figured out the default password.

For all that don't know: On the latest firmware it isn't admin/admin, since there is only one password field.

The default password is: HomePlugAV

This should get documented somewhere.

Nonetheless I survived the struggle and slid into the next issue. I want to change the default password to something else. So I logged into the web interface, went to Settings > Change Login Password. Now the fun starts.

I can't change the password, because someone thought it was a good idea to enable the password policy validation for the old password aswell. And because the old (default) password doesn't contain any numbers, I'm unable to change it.

I would kindly ask you to fix that issue ASAP.

And for documentation purposes:

- Yes, I reset the device multiple times.

- Yes, I used different browsers (Safari and Firefox).

- Yes, I updated the firmware to the latest version.
